exact phrase
treats the whole box as one phrase. Matching is case- and accent-insensitive. Timestamp links open the video a couple of seconds before the estimated position of the first matched word (transcripts are machine-generated; expect a few seconds of slack and occasional mis-hearings). There is no server: the search index is a SQLite file on a CDN and your browser fetches only the pieces a query needs, so the first search takes a moment and very common words are slow.
